My dog was lost for 2 1/2 weeks. She is a spayed pitbull/boxer mix, age 9 years. After returning home, she is a different dog. She was skin and bones when she came home with some cuts to her muzzle. She avoids the other family pets. She used to be my baby. She still follows me around the house but won't look at me. She seems to be looking for a way out of the yard again, but comes back inside when she sees us looking after her. How can I help her acclimate back to be a member of the family again? I have been giving her lots of love and attention, but it doesn't appear to be working. Anyone out there been through this? Please advise..
