Hey…where is the Wonder Dog category? Betsy and Norman are Wonder Dogs…we wonder what breed they are.
Hey all you dog lovers. I need help! I am the proud human of a Doberman. He was recently diagnoised with cancer. He is the last of his line. When his sire died 2 yrs ago, a lady raised a female to be bred with my boy Doc, her next heat is due at the end of December, first of January, I don’t know how much time my boy has, at this time he is doing well and is being treated by a vet who does alternative medicine as well as traditional medicine. I have an appointment on 12/08/09 to have his sperm collected, tested and frozen. I,m looking for a female that is AKC registered with good lines and temperment to breed Doc with in the traditional way(boy meets girl). In the last 2 months I’ve spent more money than I have to keep him healthy. At the first sign of discomfort pain, or ” Hey mom can you help me out, I hurt” I’ll do his bidding for him. I love this boy with all my heart and want his line to be carried on. He comes from champions and his litter will produce beautiful pups. He is gentle and loyal and his best buddy is a cat that “wasn’t going to make it” as the vet said. Doc carried Bone around, cleaned him up and kept him safe. That was 5 yrs ago and they still sleep together.
Please, if anyone can help me continue his line, contact me at 208-724-6220, I live in Idaho, his sire was Wizard of odds, out of Pheonix AZ.
My first Dobe was a rescue dog 38 yrs ago, and yes, I was afraid of that breed because of what I had heard about the breed. More people need to know that every dog deserves a chance and to give it to them.
Thank-you,
Jesa White
Jesa – I’m so sorry to hear of your predicament. Please check out my post on helping your dog through cancer from Nov 29th. They have lots of information anyone helping their dog fight can use. Best of luck in finding a worthy dam for breeding. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and Doc.
Were there any dachshunds competing? If not, why?
Apparently, no one entered dachshunds in the Sunday competition. However, there were some on Saturday. Results here.
