My (very-unscientific) picks for the fourth breed group this week. If you’ve missed it, so far we’ve covered the Herders, the Hounds, and the Non-Sporting Breeds.
1 – GCH CH Annian’s Gone With The Wind – A true underdog victory, as this Vizsla was not ranked in the top 20 of the Sporting Group at the end of 2010. However, “Rhett” has earned numerous Field Trial placements. (But you knew I would pick a Vizsla because it’s my favorite breed of all time.)
2 – GCH CH Silhouettes LifeInTheFastLane – A Weimaraner ranked 7th in the Sporting Group at the end of 2010. “Jimmie” most recently won Best in Show at the Golden Gate Kennel Club in January.
3 – GCH CH Rush Hill’s River Road Payoff – A Golden Retriever ranked 11th in the Sporting Group at the end of 2010. “Vegas” was the number two Golden in the US in 2008 and won Best Bred by Exhibitor honors at the 2009 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship in 2009.
4 – GCH CH Shadagee Caught Red Handed – An Irish Setter ranked 1st in the Sporting Group at the end of 2010. “Emily” has won four American Best in Show awards and two in Canada.
Come back tomorrow for the Terriers.
Until then,
Good day, and good dog!
