Thanks to Carrie for sending me an absolutely hysterical picture of a dog being groomed for the show tonight. Unfortunately, it’s copyrighted, so I can’t add it to this post, but you can see the whole slideshow here. (The one I liked best was #11.)
I’ll have results from the first night’s competition posted early Tuesday morning.
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
All I have to say is “highway robbery”! Although the final group this year at Westminster was exceptional, as always, the best dog or “best in show” was not the top dog. I know I am not alone when I say that the Doberman was clearly the best show dog America saw in that ring tonight. The Scotty had his glory last year and that judge was helping the nice finishing touch on the scottys resume. The Dobie out shined, and outclassed that dog. She had a flawless stack that by far demanded respect and awe from her competition. And every step was not missed. That Doberman is the winner tonight, bar-none, and i know I am not alone with this one. Please let the doggie community know how you feel about the results. At least let that dog know she was truly the nights “Best” dog!!! –Mr.Dueces
