I got the cutest Christmas card from my friend Sandy in the mail yesterday – just had to share it with you. The front is the picture you see here, and the inside text reads:
Twelve Dalmations drumming
Eleven Spaniels sleeping
Ten magnificent mutts
Nine Poodles prancing
Eight Rottweilers ringing
Seven Labs a leaping
Six German Shepherds
Five Golden Retrievers
Four Beagles begging
Three Dachshunds dashing
Two Terriers toasting
And a Pomeranian in a pear tree!
What a great idea! (For a card, not for real Christmas gifts for your true love – I’m guessing s/he’d throw you out to make room for all those dogs!)
Now, back to the cute picture. I get the Holy Family, the angel, the 3 wise men / kings, and the lamb and donkey, but what is the dog in the lower left corner supposed to be – the one with the short white ears for his costume?
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
I couldn’t agree more!!!! they are all Blessings to be thankfull for!!!!
Makes no difference, love all of them! They are all gifts from God!
is an oax, the traditional nativity scene has a donkey and an oax giving warmth with its breath to the cold manger and the Baby Jesus…its beutiful….and the angel!!!!
I happen to be sending these cards out myself this year! I think it is a calf or a goat…
