My Vizsla, Cooper, was VERY interested in the show – until he fell asleep – but the other three apparently didn’t notice their brethren and sistren(?) on TV.
Check back tomorrow for the Sporting, Working, and Terrier best in group winners, as well as best in show.
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
I am having difficulty trying to locate a Shih Tzu dog breeder located in Peoria Illinois, who had a dog litter April 19 2009. I would like to register my Shih Tzu with AKC. The individual I purchased the dog from failed to provide me with this information and has now moved.
Respectfully,
Ray Revell
My dog was so happy to take anything to any place!
It almost seems like the fix is in this year for a small breed to win best in show. Of the 1st four categories 3 are little dogs. Of course one of the groups was the Toys but still, a whippet and French bulldog are in there. I was certain that the corgi would win the herding group and am really surprised that a larger dog got it.
Hi! Sooooo glad to see that the judges finally chose a greyhound in the show. They are the most graceful and elegant ! It’s about time!!!!!
Oh, come on—puleeseee! I”ve been watching the Westminster Dog Show for years–it’s just more of the same old–same old. Same old judges picking the same old breeds year after year. Every year it’s one of the bassett hounds and one of the poodles. Give me a break.
I’m retired from work and retired from this tired old show.
