Just a quick reminder to set your DVR if you won’t be home this evening. The first night of competition for the 134th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show at Madison Square Gardens is tonight, starting at 8 pm.
According to the WKC web site, all Hound, Toy, Non-Sporting, and Herding breeds will be judged during the day on Monday, with Best in Groups judged in front of a live TV audience Monday evening. Tuesday will follow a similar format with judging in the Sporting, Working, and Terrier breeds during the day, followed by Best in Group on TV Tuesday evening. Also, Best in Show will provide a fitting finale to the Tuesday evening show.
The television schedule is a little tricky, as three networks will be providing coverage at different times. Monday, you can catch the first hour on USA, then switch to CNBC from 9 – 11. On Tuesday, all three hours (8 – 11) will be carried on USA. (All times Eastern.)
As always, we will have results here on the blog as soon as they are announced.

I can’t wait!
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
