Meet Cami, a proud resident of the Sunshine State. I chose to feature her today because she could be the twin sister of Lady, the dog I grew up with.
From the Collies Florida website:
Hello, my name is CAMI and I’m a very sweet, 8 year old, tri color, female collie. I was a show dog until I hurt my hip and had to retire. Then my Mommie got real sick and asked ColliesFlorida Rescue to find me a real nice new home. I am very loving and will give you my paw even if you didn’t ask for it! I enjoy short walks, get along with everyone, other dogs, children, and I love cats. I’m housebroken and seldom bark. The only things I really don’t like are stairs and slippery floors. I just want to be loved and I will love you back!
Cami is also spayed and up to date on shots. If you’re near Miami, why not contact Felicia via e-mail to contact AT ColliesFlorida DOT org to see about adopting this beautiful dog.
If you’re somewhere else, check out PetFinder’s Shelter Center to locate adoptable dogs near you.
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
