Looking for a way to have some fun with your dog this weekend in Northeastern Ohio? Celebrate the dog days of summer by bringing your four-legged friends to do the doggy-paddle at Cleveland Metroparks Ledge Pool.
Join Cleveland Metroparks for the annual “Dog Paddle & More!” event on Sunday, August 29 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Ledge Pool & Recreation Area in Hinckley Reservation in Hinckley Township.
Visitors can bring their non-aggressive dogs to swim at Ledge Pool for a nominal donation that benefits the local animal shelter and Medina County SPCA. There is a dog fair, too – featuring dog groomers, dog bakeries, pet therapy, and more! Pets and their parents can enjoy a dog walk and Cleveland Metroparks K-9 Unit will be on hand with animal safety demonstrations.
The cost of pool admission is a $3 donation per dog (benefiting the Medina County SPCA). Dogs and their humans can also enjoy treat sales, a dog walk at 3 p.m. around the area, and more!
1 – 2 p.m. | Ohio Air Dogs dock diving demonstrations |
2 – 3 p.m. | B.A.R.K. demonstration |
3 – 4 p.m. | Buckeye Dock Dogs demonstration |
