I was so busy blogging about Westminster last week, I didnt see this story originally.
It seems a woman in Medina, Ohio (just up the road from me) had over 100 dogs in filthy conditions in her home. Four had to be put down, but the remainder have been saved, with adoptions set to start today.
Here’s the story from NewsNet5 out of Cleveland.
The Medina County SPCA shelter currently has this notice posted on their website:
EMERGENCY REQUEST OF VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We need: Cage cleaners
House keeping
Laundry
CALL THE SHELTER AT 330-723-7722
Volunteers need application & Proof of Tetnus Vac. Required
So, if you’re nearby, why not help them out?
If you’re thinking of adopting one of the dogs, you can see them at PetSmart, 5011 Grande Blvd., Medina on Thur. 12 – 4 pm
They will have more animals available Fri. 12 – 4 pm and Sat. 12 – 4 pm
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
