When Solon, Ohio K-9 handler Matt Troyer and Stryker began their career together, they didn’t know just how good Stryker would be. They went through the normal K-9 training in the fall of 2010:
Stryker proved himself in mid-March when Patrolman Troyer pulled over a car that he observed weaving between lanes. He had Stryker circle the car, and the dog alerted him to the passenger side door. Inside the vehicle, Troyer found a 23-inch sword, as well as the ingredients needed to make methamphetamines, and an open container of beer.
Way to go Stryker!
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
