The Celtic Club of Ohio has a tradition that is in its 8th year this month: sponsoring a pet food drive during the month of March, under the moniker of St. Pets Day.
Their kick-off event was held last week at a local elementary school where rescue groups brought some of their homeless animals and fire department personnel brought their own dogs for the kids to play with.
More than 70 communities throughout Northeastern Ohio participate in St Pets Day, and food can be dropped off at many local fire stations.
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
