In honor of last weekend’s trip to Toronto, I’m featuring a Canadian shelter for the first time ever! Meet Barney! This beautiful Beagle mix is living in foster care with Adopt A Dog / Save A Life in Toronto, Ontario. Here’s what their website has to say about him.
Barney is a friendly, easy going 5 or 6 year old beagle mix. Barney’s foster family only have good things to say about this dear dog. He is loving the winter and playfully rolls around in the snow. He enjoys going for walks and makes a wonderful companion. Barney is friendly with other dogs and cats. He is house trained and knows basic commands. Barney is diabetic, but his disease is under control and easily managed with his insulin injections. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and weighs about 55 pounds. Barney has not lived with young children – for this reason we will only consider homes with children over 12 years.
If you’re going to be near Ontario, why not contact Adopt a Dog / Save a Life to inquire about Barney and all of his friends. Call (416) 787-3862 or fill out an online adoption application.
If you’re somewhere else, check out PetFinder’s Shelter Center to find adoptable dogs near you in both the US and Canada.
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
