From ABC News: Seven of the ten dogs who survived being owned by Michael Vick had a reunion in California late last month. Their get-together is a testament to the power of love and the resilience of dogs.
I just read that holding a grudge is like allowing someone you don’t like to live in your head rent free. The cool thing about dogs is that they don’t know the meaning of the word “grudge”. Placed in loving homes, these dogs now thrive, focusing on the present rather than their awful past.
Seven of them have earned their Canine Good Citizen Certificates and three are now therapy dogs.
I think we could all take a lesson from them on forgetting and moving on.
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
