Meet Earl! Earl is an adult Shih-Tzu, currently living in foster care in Fredericksburg, Virginia with Second Chance Dog Rescue. Here’s what he tells us about himself on their website:
Hello my name is Earl. My foster mom rescued me after I lost my way. I was found wondering the streets very confused. You see I suffer from dry eye as well as I am hard of hearing. My foster mom is slowly winning me over but since I do not see and hear well, it has taken me a bit to trust. She is looking for someone that will continue to work with me. She believes that once I trust someone I will be a very nice dog for someone. She believes that a quiet home would be best so she is asking that the family have only older children. My adoption fee is $285.00 which covers my neuter, rabies, distemper shot, 4 way heartworm test and a microchip.
If you’re lucky enough to live in Virginia, why not contact Second Chance Dogs and ask to meet Earl and all of his friends? Call (540) 752-1741, send an e-mail to [email protected] or fill out an online application.
If you’re somewhere else, check out PetFinder’s Shelter Center to locate adoptable dogs near you.
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
