When you work for a company named BrewDog, you might expect there to be some canine-related parts to your job. But I don’t think anyone expected this. The brewery, whose home office is in Scotland, have recently initiated a policy offering one-week of paid paw-ternity leave to allow people the time to setting in with a new puppy or rescued dog.
The one-week paid leave, officially known as Puppy Parental Leave, is the first perk of itstype in the industry. They are opening a new facility in Columbus, Ohio, which will also extend the same benefit to its employees.
Not only does the company allow employees to bring their dogs to work with them, they also allow bar patrons to bring their dogs when the frequent BrewDog Bars.
I may have to apply for a job with BrewDog! What’s not to love?
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
