I just found out Dog Tag Art has specific ID tags for many breeds, showing a drawing of the dog on the side opposite the contact information. They even have some of the rarer breeds like the Sealyham, the Glen of Imaal, and the Catahoula.

And if that’s not personalized enough for you, you can even send them a picture of your dog, and they’ll make it into a tag for your best buddy.

If you’re not familiar with Dog Tag Art, they have lots of cute designs, but mostly what I like about them is the durability. Penny’s tag is still legible after about five years of wear. My guess is you would never buy more than two of these over the entire lifetime of your dog unless you move or change your phone number frequently.
