Meet Daisy! This senior citizen prefers a home without young children. Here’s what her rescuers have to say about her: If you can imagine yourself with a sweet and loving canine companion, Daisy is a dog for you. Our Miss Daisy is a Fox Hound mix, around 7 years old and weighing approximately 75 pounds. She is a big girl but also has a big heart with a capacity to bring joy to her loved ones. Her sweetness is undeniable and she is sure to be on your best friends list.
Our Daisy is not a girl that likes to live in the fast lane. For her, it is slow and easy with her low energy level. She’d much rather be a spectator in life and watch from the side lines. Daisy is not a stranger to enjoying the outdoors as she enjoys going for hikes and is even a fan of snow. After a day of exploring, Daisy looks forward to resting her head and taking a well deserved nap. She gets along well with other dogs and adults but would do best in a house with older children around the age of 16 or older. She has not had the opportunity to be introduced to a cat.
Our Daisy has lots of adventures ahead of her and many happy days with her forever family. She will benefit from a family that has the time, energy and patience to give her the quality of life that she deserves. She will need continued crate training but will proudly show off her house and leash skills as she has mastered both. Although she is house trained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while she is adjusting to a new home environment.
Daisy’s companionship is a treasure. She warms the heart and soul with just her presence. She needs a stable family/individual that will take her under their wing and make room in their hearts for a great gal like Daisy.
Daisy’s adoption fee is $250. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue, and transport fees.
Daisy is currently a guest of Dog Star Rescue in Bloomfield, Connecticut. If you’re lucky enough to be nearby, why not contact Dog Star to find out about Daisy and all of her friends. You can email them at [email protected] or fill out an adoption application online.
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
