Wow! These are the first pictures from this morning. We are at the Orlando Convention Center, and the venue is HUGE! (Or YUGE if you’re a Donald Trump fan.) We even saw this cute little Pom practicing his show prance in the hotel parking lot this morning.
Last week, I featured the new breeds being shown at this week’s AKC National Championship presented by Royal Canin. There are also dogs being shown who have not yet been placed in one of the traditional seven breed groups (Toy, Terrier, Working, Sporting, Non-Sporting, Herding, and Hound). I thought we had progressed beyond breed specific legislation, but a major metropolis in Canada – Montreal – has just passed a pit bull ban.
