Saturday Survey: Your Veterinarian

I posted earlier this week about some veterinarians who might be…ummmm…shall we say “padding” their diagnoses in order to get you to purchase unnecessary tests and treatments. I know I once switched vets because they turned their front room into a sales floor with leashes, dishes, and other stuff I didn’t need to purchase from the vet. In Honor of Independence Day

Check out this neat offer from DogTagArt.com. I have purchased tags for all of my dogs from this company and have been very happy with them. They simply do NOT wear out. You can choose one of their snazzy (and often funny) designs, or create your own. So, give your dog the gift of a shiny new tag, and give a vet a pet at the same time.

Good day, and good dog!

The Power of the Microchip

Seven months is a long time to be separated from your best friend. For the bargain basement price of an implanted microchip, reunification was possible.

Make sure your dogs ALWAYS have an ID tag and / or a microchip! I recommend both because the average person on the street won’t have the capability to scan for a chip, but can easily contact you from the ID tags when your dog is found.
