Pet Ninja Baby Gate

Has anyone tried one of these soft gates from Pet Ninja with a dog? I have used hard plastic baby gates for years, and they work great for keeping my dogs confined to certain rooms, but I’ve never used one that looks this insubstantial. My dogs have never challenged the hard gates, but wondering if they would just barge right through this one.

I love the idea – looks very easy to install, but just wondering how it will hold up.

Please comment below if you’ve used one and what you thought.

Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!

Interactive Feeder

Interactive FeederI found a new toy I’d like to try: the Interactive Rubber Ball from LemmePet.com If you’ve read any of our breed guides, you know we often recommend an activity for your dogs that keeps them mentally stimulated when you must leave them home alone.

This toy allows you to feed them throughout the day, while making them use their minds to get to the food. You simply put food or treats into the central core, and your dog must work the kibble out through the side holes.

I’ll let you know how it works when I get one.

Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!

DIY Dog Food Puzzle Dispenser

Many of our breed guides specify that you must keep your dog mentally active to prevent boredom behaviors such as digging and chewing. If you are having difficulty keeping your dog occupied, you might try making a food or treat dispenser like the one shown here to make the dog figure out how to get his or her food. It is also good for dogs who eat so fast they choke or throw up.

Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
