Interactive Toys for Your Dog

Turn AroundI quite often recommend keeping dogs busy to prevent destructive behaviors such as chewing, digging, and excessive barking. One of the best things I’ve ever seen was a homemade food dispenser made of two-liter bottles suspended on a dowel rod. The dog has to spin the bottles to make the food fall out. I love the idea, but am not handy enough to make one myself, and had never seen one available commercially. Then, I stumbled into Trixie products. They have a whole line of interactive toys for dogs (and for cats, if you have a multi-species home). They call the dispenser a Turn Around (pictured here), and they have lots of other puzzle toys to keep your dog mentally stimulated throughout the day.

I can’t wait to try them out!

Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
