My house gets a little crazy with all the animals – just wondering how many you have at your house? I gotta tell you, when I tried to make my e-bay user name “4dogs2cats”, someone already had it! I had to add “3kids” at the end to get it to take.
Just saw the new Miller High Life commercial. You know how he goes into various sports arenas and takes back their beer because they aren’t worthy? In this one, he goes inside an arena and sees it has been converted for use as a dog show. He just can’t believe it. Then, at the end he says, “Is that a portrait of a dog?” It doesn’t translate well for me to tell you about it, but I can’t find it on YouTube yet. It is absolutely hysterical, so watch for it.
There will be a Paw Pawty tonight on Twitter from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. EST with the hashtag #blogpawty. If you don’t have Twitter, but want to follow along, you can watch the streaming conversation here.

Most of the time, I can’t even afford to take my human children out to dinner, but check out this clip from NBC Nightly News about restaurants that are now encouraging you to bring your dog when you eat out! Apparently, it’s all the rage in urban and warm-weather cities.
Of course, my dogs are champion counter-surfers, so I can’t imagine we’d be asked back.
We jumped Cooper for the first time last night – it was an absoloute blast, even though Cooper would have absolutely nothing to do with the water! Have you ever watched Dock Diving?
If you’ve been reading this blog for very long, you know that I am fascinated with the sport of dock-diving, and that I have a Vizsla named Cooper. Well, I’m so excited! We’ve decided to enter Cooper in a dock-diving competition this weekend.
