The Twitterverse is in chaos today over a study published in the December, 2018 issue of Learning and Behavior, entitled “In what sense are dogs special? RIP Mischief
Long-time readers of this blog may remember my friend’s dog, Mischief, who ate at least one couch with his brother, Mayhem. I’m sad to report that Mischief crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. Continue reading RIP Mischief
Major Biden
The Delaware Humane Association is pleased to announce the adoption of Major by Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill. The couple fell in love with the dog after fostering him in their home.
According to the Delaware Humane Association Facebook page, “Major was 1 of 6 puppies who were brought to DHA after coming in contact with something toxic in their home. Their original owner was unable to afford veterinary care so they surrendered. With the help of our friends at VSCD, together we provided lifesaving care, shared their story here and that we were looking for fosters for them. Joe Biden caught wind of them and the rest is history!”
What a great start to the holiday season!
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!

The complaint also asks the FTC to investigate the practices of Monterey Financial Services, which collects lease payments from Wags Lending’s customers. Continue reading Pet Leasing Industry Sued
3-D Printed Skull
I’m just fascinated by the application of 3-D printing to the medical world. I’ve seen prosthetic hands made for kids who are still growing to avoid the expense of replacing parts as they grow. Now, they’ve made a new skull for a 9-year old Dachshund! Continue reading 3-D Printed Skull
