The Denver Post is reporting that Texas church shooter Devin Patrick Kelley previously had an animal cruelty charge in southern Colorado. Witnesses say he beat a dog with his fists, and Kelley was cited for animal cruelty by El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies on August 1, 2014. From Fox 8 News: A new strain of dog flu, known as H3N2, is rearing its ugly head in Northeastern Ohio. It’s highly contagious and potentially fatal. The strain was first identified in 2015 in Chicago and has been slowly spreading across the country.
Symptoms include coughing, sneezing, lack of appetite and vomiting. Check with your local vet to see if it has reached your area yet. If it has, you’d be well advised to keep your dog away from the dog park or doggie day care until the danger has passed.
