2013 National Dog Show Results: Best in Show!

The competitors are:

From the Hound Group:  The American Foxhound

From the Working Group:  The Standard Schnauzer

From the Toy Group:  The Pekingese

From the Sporting Group:  The Irish Water Spaniel

From the Herding Group:  The Bearded Collie

From the Terrier Group:  The Norfolk Terrier

From the Non-Sporting Group:  The Bichon Frise

And Best in Show at the 2013 National Dog Show goes to…drumroll please!…The American Foxhound!  (My favorite from this group.)

Time for me to go eat some turkey.  Afterwards, I’ll be back to tell you a little more about all of these beautiful dogs!

2013 National Dog Show Results: Hound Group

One of the new breeds, the Portuguese Podengo Pequeno, was shown in this group.

There are 31 breeds in this group, and the winners are:

4th place: Pharoah Hound
3rd place: Wire haired Dachshund
2nd place: Afghan Hound
Best in Group: American Foxhound

You know I always root for the Beagles, and the foxhound is pretty close!
