A definite add to my movie list for this summer! From the director of one of my favorite movies, “Remember the Titans”, Max is the story of a military working dog who is traumatized by the loss of his handler. The fallen Marine’s family takes in the dog and helps him work through his PTSD. Looks like a tear-jerker!
This just cracked me up. No, these dogs aren’t MY Daisy and Cooper, but they could just as well be. Although my Cooper would not have let Daisy get so many licks in.
How funny is this! King, a one-year old dog who was to be featured as the “pet of the week”, just couldn’t wait for the weather segment to finish before he began what was to be his TV debut.
But the weatherman handled it beautifully. You can tell he’s a dog person!
Hard to argue with someone who’s having that much fun!
I’ve read where people are wondering if something is wrong with her hips or spine due to the way she lies down, but her family insists she is just fine. She lies that way to cool off her belly. My beagle / foxhound / something else mix, Molly, slept that way, and she never appeared to have any problems.
ABC News is reporting on two Golden Retrievers who stuck with 76-year old Judy Muhe after she fell and was unable to get up. Judy’s Parkinson’s Disease makes it tough for her to keep warm, and the dogs lay next to her on the floor for two days until help arrived. I knew there was a reason I like Goldens!
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
