We’ve had this for awhile, but Kayla just discovered it, and she hasn’t put it down since! Isn’t she cute?
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
I’ve always thought it would be fun to bring one of my dogs to work with me. I’m not sure whether they’d behave, or if they would even think it was a good idea, but I think I’d love it! What about you?
Have you ever taken your dog to a church service where a special blessing is offered for pets? What if you could take your dog with you every Sabbath? A church in Los Angeles has recognized that people share an important bond with their dogs and is now opening its doors to dogs and their families every Sunday.
If you’re a regular reader, you know I try to meet and take a picture of dogs I meet when I travel. Well, this weekend I was visiting my mom in Hamilton, Ohio, and got to meet Max in the parking lot of the Bob Evans there.
Max’s family told me that their neighbor had moved out & left Max behind, apparently to fend for himself, so they had adopted him. Apparently, they’re taking good care of him, as he has gained 10 pounds since they’ve had him.
Looking good, Max! (And my apologies to your family – I promised them I’d have this posted on Sunday, but life intervened.)
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!

Good day, and good dog!
We have our Christmas tree in the living room, behind a baby gate, to keep the dogs out of it. We started this after the time they ate a glass bulb and I had to make mashed potatoes to coat the shards…on a day when I was already preparing a special dinner for 27 friends and relatives.
So, how does your dog do with the tree?

I used to work in a hospital, and whenever the sadness of dealing with the ill and dying got to me, I’d go up to the maternity ward and stare at the newborns for awhile. It provided a good lift for the soul.
The people at Method have now provided the same lift for those of us who seek solace in puppies. Product strategist Ritik Dholakia teamed up with designer Khoi Uong to develop an app that “would automatically send puppy photos whenever [you want them].” It also has a gallery of photos you can browse through anytime.
Puppytime costs just 99-cents to download and sends you three pix a day at the times of your choosing.
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
