Saturday Survey: No Good Deed Goes Unpunished
Remember the man who wanted to get his dog out of the shelter, but couldn’t afford to do so? By the time funds were raised to take care of the fine and shelter fee, the man was nowhere to be found.
This story was big on Facebook. So big, in fact, that I wasn’t even sure it was a true story.
However, as this news piece shows, not only was it true, it also had a happy ending! The man and his dog, Buzz Lightyear, were recently reunited through the kindness of strangers.
The bad news came a day or so later, when the dog’s owner began berating the Good Samaritan to release the rest of the donated money directly to him. She is unwilling to do so because she feels he will spend it not on the dog but on his alleged drug habit. So, now he is threatening to sue her.
So, here’s our Saturday Survey: what should be done with the money?

Dog-Loving Author Lisa Gardner
I’ve always enjoyed Lisa Gardner’s books for the tightly-written suspense, but now I love her even more after reading the Author’s Notes in “Catch Me”.

Take a Chance on Me
Well, I can’t say any of the dogs shown in this video are especially good Dancing Queens, and it’s not “Call Me Maybe”, but it IS a very cute video.
And can I say, what an AWESOME facility!
Congratulations to the Wake County (Raleigh, NC) SPCA on such a creative way to showcase their animals!
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
Beautiful Rescue of Rosie and Her Pups
Came across this on Facebook – what a sweet video. Enjoy!
Kudos to START rescue and this very patient man for taking the time to care.
(FYI, this was filmed a year or two ago. I don’t know that the pups have all been adopted already, but I’d imagine they have been.)
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
