I stopped at the credit union today on my lunch hour, and found this stuffed cutie hanging over the wall of the teller booth. When I got closer, I saw that a picture of his friend was hanging nearby. The teller told me the picture is of her Pug, Edgar, smiling at the camera.
You just gotta love dog humor. This picture is from the Facebook page of Dig and Bark. On their main site, you can buy T-shirts that proclaim your love for all things canine.
The site only shows sizes up to XXL, but for those of us who are more full-figured, they will do a special order. According to Barry, who answered my e-mail, “you should just place the order as normal and when you go through check-out just leave us a note that you would like a special size. Some of the shirts, like the tie-dyes, are available in sizes up to 5x. Please give us 1-2 weeks to get the shirt for you. We don’t keep them in stock.”
Check out this photo gallery from Sports Illustrated, featuring athletes of all sports and ages with their best four-legged friends. I just love this one, in particular, because of the contrast in sizes between man and dog.
So, you’re in the service and about ready to deploy. What do you do with your 4-legged children, assuming you don’t have friends or family nearby? Enter an organization called Dogs on Deployment. Continue reading Dogs on Deployment→
So, by now we all know that NONE of my picks made it to Best in Show, and only two made it to the Group competitions. But that’s not really the point of the whole event. To me, the highlights of the show were the ones that weren’t televised.
I’ll be updating throughout the day as more of the breed judging results come in. But first, since I’m on such a great winning streak (1 for 12), let me remind you of my picks for this group:
Flat-coated Retriever GCH CH Valhala Born on the 4th of July (“Cruise”)
Golden Retriever GCH CH Gemini Fallchase The Butler Did It (“Cody”)
