A Different Kind of Shelter Sunday

Since this is National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week, I wanted to give a big shout-out to all of those shelter workers and volunteers who work never-ending hours rescuing the never-ending stream of animals in trouble. We see you, and we appreciate you. Readers, please show your appreciation to a local shelter or rescue with a donation of food, supplies, or cold hard cash!

I also wanted to share this post from the Brown County Humane Society’s Facebook page. (I think that’s where it’s from – it was shared by a friend.) For those of you who work in shelters or rescues and are looking for a fresh way to advertise your animals, I thought this was cute.
