So look who came to live at my house this weekend! This is Checkers! She belonged to a breeder in West Virginia, but turned out to have demodectic mange, which is hereditary, meaning she couldn’t be shown. The breeder thought she’d have an awful time finding a home for Checkers as “just” a pet, but it turns out we have a mutual friend who hooked us up.
She’s a 1-year old Treeing Walker Coonhound, and you know how I feel about hounds! I’m in love already.

I work from home, so my dogs haven’t noticed a big difference, but I know for some of you, staying inside has been a
BIG change. How is your dog handling it?

I read that if you remember you’re not “stuck” at home, but rather “safe” at home, it can help with the positive attitude.

Follow William Shatner on Twitter. He is currently in isolation, and is tweeting about his situation and his dogs, Espresso and Macchiato. They are pretty funny.
