My home zoo includes two dogs, one cat, and soon to be added – another kitten. I know I’ve shared pictures of my dogs before, so here’s one of my cat, Caramel.
Thanks to friend-of-the-blog Rob Worrall for sending this to me. I’m embarrassed to admit I missed this – Cleveland’s practically in my back yard!
When this puppy was dropped off at the Cleveland Animal Protective League, they had to find someone to nurse it back to health, and lacking any suitable dog mamas, they turned to Lurlene the cat!
In other Cleveland APL news, they are currently accepting submissions for their 2014 calendar, if you have a picture you’d like to send.
When Ellie, a blind spaniel, was adopted by shelter manager Jean Spencer, she never expected that her other dog, Leo, would choose to become her very own seeing-eye dog. “I take them for walks in the park and Leo guides Ellie around,” says Spencer. “He is so protective and herds the more boisterous dogs away from her.”
Has anyone sent you the e-mail yet with all of the cute animals? Thanks to friend of the blogger, Marsha, for sending it to me. I’ve attached below some of the most precious of the group. Had to include the non-dog ones because…well, just because! If you left-click on any of the pictures, you can get a larger view.
