No Dumping
I’m a member of several pet-lovers groups on Facebook, and I have been absolutely heartbroken lately at the number of animals who are being rehomed or who have been just dumped. I may be preaching to the choir here, but please, for the love of God, don’t take in an animal on a “trial” basis. When you adopt a pet, he or she should become a member of your family. I know sometimes situations change, financially and otherwise, but I just feel so badly for these pets who are losing all they’ve ever known.

Dogs Along the Route
We all know about the legendary relationship between mail carriers and dogs. Apparently, it’s different if you wear brown instead of blue. Many UPS drivers (and I’m sure, many postal workers) actually have formed a bond with the dogs on their routes. So many, in fact, that they started a Facebook page to feature pictures of them. It’s worth checking out.
