Are you getting excited for this year’s Westminster Kennel Club show yet? It starts in less than 2 weeks!
I began writing for the next issue of our bi-weekly newsletter, Straight Poop, today, and realized I’d better get my Westminster preview submitted if I want it published before the show. So, I spent the day researching the invited champions. You’ll have to read the article if you want to know my picks, but what about you? Have you picked out any early favorites? Let us know who you like by commenting below.
Who will be this year’s top dog?????? Assuming all of my picks won their respective groups (a BIG “if”), here’s how the best in show competition would look.
We’ve been working our way through the breed groups this week, in preparation for the 2011 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Today’s topic: the Working Group.
This group is dominated by Boxers, who claim four of the top ten spots in the current group rankings, but I’m going to go out on a limb and choose a dog of another breed as the group winner.
We’re starting to wind down our week-long preparation for Westminster. You can look back to see my picks for the Herders, the Hounds, the Non-Sporting breeds, the Sporting Group, and the Terriers. Today: the Toy Group.
My (very-unscientific) picks for the fourth breed group this week. If you’ve missed it, so far we’ve covered the Herders, the Hounds, and the Non-Sporting Breeds.
