If your dog is like mine, he or she will stand still for hours on end, as long as you keep rubbing on the ears. Why do they love it so much? Turns out that stimulating the nerves in a dog’s ears results in endorphins being released throughout their body. Endorphins are those feel good hormones that get released in humans when we are in love or are eating chocolate. They relax us and gives us a natural high. No wonder dogs like it so much!

According to the Veterinary Pet Insurance Company, canine ear problems were the leading cause of vet visits in 2009.
