Those are three words you don’t often see together: hero, pit, and bull; but in this case, I sure am glad they go together!
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!

From our good friends at Pedigree: Stevie Wonderful was blind and lost when he was found. But with care and love, he has become a beacon of hope. Today he has a loving family and is a canine greeter bringing joy at Cleveland Clinic. His enduring spirit is why we chose him as PEDIGREE Foundation’s 2020 Rescue Dog of the Year.
Stevie was found trying to cross a six-lane highway, dragging four feet of rusty chain that was wrapped around his neck. He had a flea infestation, ear mites, mange, heartworm disease and suffered from malnutrition. He was also blind, likely from past head trauma. Sorry for the short notice, but I just received this from our friends at Pets for Patriots.

Despite the cruelty inflicted upon him as a young pup Jameson has triumphed. Adopted by one of the responding police officers the night he was brutalized, he now teaches children to be kind to animals and collects donated items for various animal welfare organizations.
Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
From The Daily Mail: When a young mother got to the end of her rope, she took her two young boys, aged 5 and 9, to the Murray River near Moama and tried to drown them. Although Buddy, a Pit Bull, was able to save the 9-year old, he bit him in the process of the rescue. Continue reading British Pit Bull Cleared of Mauling Charges
