Dog’s Micro-Chip Helps Family Identify Lost Son

Here’s a twist on why it’s a good idea to micro-chip your dog. In this video, the authorities used a dog’s micro-chip to identify a “John Doe” who had died of an overdose.

I was originally drawn to the video because the dog looks exactly like a huskier version of my Kayla. But in reviewing it, I think it has some relevance for all of us. Not that I’m wishing any of you or your relatives end up as John or Jane Does in a morgue, but I’d also hate for you to remain unidentified if you do end up there.

Until next time,
Good day, and good dog!
