Letter From the Rainbow Bridge
I found this today – did NOT write it – but thought it might be comforting to some of you who have lost pets.
Hi, mom and dad!
Now that I’ve been across The Rainbow Bridge for a couple weeks, they said I should write a letter home. Sorry, mom, but I’m so busy ‘across the bridge’ that I haven’t thought of home much. Faithful Friends
Anybody besides me remember the children’s book called “I’ll Love You Forever”. I always thought it was kind of creepy because this lady sneaks into her adult son’s bedroom at night to sing her little bedtime song. Somehow, when it’s a pet, it’s not creepy at all!

I Died Today. By Duke Roberts
When Duke’s family knew that the time had come for him to cross the Rainbow Bridge, they hired a photographer to chronicle his last day on earth, and they made sure it was a truly memorable last day. Which is a really cool way to honor your dog’s gifts to you.
They ate hamburgers, they played at the splash park, and they invited friends over to say goodbye. A dog couldn’t ask for any more.
