2014 National Dog Show: Working Group

Winners in the working group:

1st: Samoyed
2nd: Akita
3rd: Bernese Mountain Dog
4th Standard Schnauzer

Coming up next: The Toy Group

29 breeds and varieties are included in the Working Group, and 425 dogs were entered in today’s earlier competitions.

The Chinook is competing for the first time this year.

The best of each breed came to the Garden to compete in front of Judge Clay Coady of Paradise Valley, AZ.

Here are the winners:

Best in Group: Portuguese Water Dog
Group Second: Mastiff
Group Third: Akita
Group Fourth: Boxer

Come back in about 45 minutes for the winner in the Terrier Group.

One of the new breeds, the Chinook, was shown in this group.

There are 29 breeds in this group, and the winners are:

4th place: Doberman Pinscher
3rd place: Siberian Husky
2nd place: Samoyed
Best in Group: Standard Schnauzer
