Because dogs have a very small spoken vocabulary in English, you need to train them in a language they understand - that of dominance. Teach your dog that you are in charge, and he will obey you because he wants to please you.
Training costs are between $300 and $1,000 per session, depending on the severity of the problem and the number of dogs in your home. The key, according to one of the trainers, is follow-through. You can break your dog of his bad habits in as little as one training session if you continue the lesson after the trainer leaves.
