Saturday Survey: Does Your Dog Like Car Rides?

One of the advantages of our taking Cooper to Bow Wow Beach a few times is that he now looks forward to getting into his crate in the car.  We used to have to shove, cajole, and otherwise force him in.  However, he still gets sick nearly every time he rides more than about an hour.

What about you?  Does your dog like to ride in the car?

    Our Weimaraner likes short car rides (under 30 minutes). She must be able to hang her head out the window, or else she starts crying. It’s funny to watch her standing up on the seat, head out the window, ears flapping in the breeze!
    She does not like having her paws wiped with a towel before getting into the car, I must distract her with a blue dog bakery treat in order to get her to sit for the paw wiping.
