I am in the process of trying out a new Eureka Pet Pal vacuum cleaner for a review I’m going to post next week, which got me to wondering about cleaning up after dogs. Which job is the worst in your opinion?

Actually clean up is easier around here since I stopped feeding “doggie junk food” … once I started reading labels I was shocked at what was in the food and treats I’d been feeding for years! Treats were the biggest challenge … to find something they loved but I could feel good about giving them … now they get Blue Dog Bakery treats exclusively and everyone is happy! These are all natural and made right here in the USA … with big crunchy biscuits for the Rottie and little Softies for the ancient toothless Maltese!
Actually,Brittany is an incredibly neat dog …she will hold it for hours rather than foul her nest, as it were. The worst clean up problems occur when she has thoroughly insulted her system with inappropriate ingestions–usually barbeque rib bones (or lamb bones)–that result in prolonged bouts of diarrhea. Even then she is savvy enough to leave those deposits in the bathroom which has a ceramic tiled floor.
